Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She's appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known by her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actress, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after she appeared in small parts on Irish and British TV series starting in the year 2009. She began appearing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms from 2012. In 2012, following her was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing often in various panel shows. In 2016 and 2017 she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. The only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea was given to her to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was just three years old. She did not know what happened to him until she was thirteen. Bea chose to stage her name Bea in honor of her late father. Bea also published an article for The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were raised within the home of Helen Moloney, who was a school teacher and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. Their family was enthralled by race meetings as well as horses. Bea spent her childhood as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she was not interested in the racing industry. She was more interested in the performance arts.
