Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director most well-known as the main character of Birdman. The versatile actor is equally skilled in comedy as well as drama. His work has led him to portray a couple of love-interest characters and he's appeared in some action thrillers. While still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in both acting and performance. As a youngster, he attempted stand-up comedy. The show was not an enviable stand-up career, however it opened the door for an acting career. It was not easy to find the success he had as a comedian, so he became a TV cameraman for a cable channel. Through his work, he came to realize that he really desired to appear present on camera. He then managed to land a TV role, and he appeared in many episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor and became popular quickly on television. His comedic roles earned him fame, and he commenced an acting career with high ambitions. Additional recognition was received by his portrayal of Batman's famous character as Tim Burton's Batman. He grew as an actor as time went on and delved into direction and production areas. His performance in the 2014 film Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and accolades.
