Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). She relocated to Oxfordshire in the year she turned five years old and attended an academy called the Dragon School. Emma was just six when she decided she wanted to be an actor. She was trained for many years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part time theatre school in Oxford where she was taught acting as well as singing. The movie broke all records for its opening and weekend ticket sales, and it was the most-recorded 2001 movie. It was highly acclaimed by reviewers, and so were the performances of its three young stars. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British publication, has praised Emma for her exceptional performance. Emma received five awards in recognition of her work in the film.
