Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, old boleros, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas as well as any drama. At age 16 she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive vocal instruction. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, as well being a young professional in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. Following her move from Mexico to America in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties, performing the traditional Latin American Music. Alongside being an instructor and performer in the local area, her love of music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for being able to share her love and passion of the traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
